Sakarya University Business School was established on November 15, 2010, pursuant to the Council of Ministers' decision numbered 2010/1074. Aiming to become a leading educational institution both in Turkey and globally, our faculty prepares students for the future through its dynamic academic staff, curricula based on international standards, and strong university-industry collaboration.
Departments
Our faculty comprises 5 academic departments:
While the language of instruction is Turkish for programs other than Business Administration (English), an optional one-year English Preparatory Program is available to all students. Furthermore, through mandatory and elective professional English courses within our curriculum, students are supported in developing a solid language foundation tailored for the global business world.
International Quality and Accreditation
Our faculty holds the prestigious AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation—a distinction achieved by less than 5% of business programs worldwide. As of October 2022, all undergraduate and graduate programs within our Business School and Graduate School of Business have been accredited internationally, registering our educational quality on a global scale.
Educational Approach and Applied Learning
Our curricula are continuously updated in line with scientific and universal criteria, taking into account current trends and regional needs. Alongside general business education, elective courses providing specialization and non-departmental cultural/artistic courses aim to foster multi-dimensional student development.
To ensure students gain field experience alongside theoretical knowledge, a one-semester compulsory internship is implemented across all our departments. Through organized technical trips, conferences, symposia, and seminars, students are brought together with prominent figures and professionals from the business world.
Exchange Programs and Campus Life
Students at our faculty have the opportunity to study at domestic and international universities or participate in foreign internship mobility programs under the Erasmus+, Farabi, and Mevlana exchange frameworks. Beyond academic activities, active student clubs within our faculty encourage students to enrich their university experience through social, cultural, and athletic engagement.
