Certificates were presented to students who successfully completed the “Digital Transformation in Corporate Governance” and “DIA CLOUD Enterprise Resource Planning” Micro-Credential courses, conducted in cooperation with the Sakarya University Faculty of Business and DIA Software. As a concrete outcome of university-industry collaboration, the program allowed students to gain hands-on experience with ERP processes.
Within the scope of the “Digital Transformation in Corporate Governance” course at Sakarya University Faculty of Business, a 14-week, 52-hour training program aimed at increasing students' digital competencies has been completed. Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Halil İbrahim Cebeci, Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdüssamed Koç, and Umay Tüm Bilişim Founder Aycan Fırtın, the classes covered Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) processes using the DIA Corporate infrastructure.
Throughout the training process, students had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge on digital platforms, gaining competence regarding operational processes in the business world. The primary objective of the program was to prepare graduating students for professional life equipped with skills that meet sectoral expectations and to increase their employability.
Speaking at the certificate ceremony, Dean of the Faculty of Business Prof. Dr. Sima Nart drew attention to the importance of this collaboration in terms of university-industry integration. Prof. Dr. Nart expressed her gratitude to the DIA Corporate management for their support during the process, to the Faculty Advisory Board members for their contributions, and to the students for the interest they showed in the course.
Certificates were presented to the successful students by Dean of the Faculty of Business Prof. Dr. Sima Nart, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Özlem Balaban and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Burgazoğlu, Faculty Advisory Board President Ali İhsan Güneş, Advisory Board Members Adnan Borazancıoğlu, Özgür Koca, and Suat Gürsoylu, DIA Sales Director Mustafa Kemal Palancı, Sales Support Manager Sakine Gürel, ERP Project Specialists Ecem Narlı, Erhan Çınar, and Ahmet Can Hacıoğlu, Marketing Manager Eray Özcan, Marketing Specialist Gözde Sünbül Şan, and Umay Tüm Bilişim Founder Aycan Fırtın.
The program concluded with the students receiving their certificates, documenting that they have gained competencies that will provide them with a competitive advantage in the business world.
